Natural is the leather before any colour is added: pale, warm and completely undyed, exactly as it leaves the tannery. It is the most honest expression of vegetable tanned leather, and the one that changes most: within weeks the surface warms, the tone deepens toward honey and the piece starts to carry the marks of your hands. No two will ever age the same way.

Cut from smooth Italian vegetable tanned leather from a Tuscan tannery certified by the Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium, it is slowly tanned using natural plant extracts, giving it depth and suppleness that synthetic processes cannot replicate.

Handmade in Portugal by a small atelier specialising exclusively in leather goods. Edges are hand painted with organic paint. The gold Escuyer logo sits cleanly on the front face. Every piece arrives in a presentation box.
